Our AUTUMN 2004 art exhibition "ART METROPOLIS" is an introduction to a new international initiative to show the works of promising young artists along with the works of established, famous painters and sculptors.

On exhibition is a selection of works by Salvador Dali (Spain), Kurt Arentz (Germany), Ernst Fuchs (Austria), Renate Stendar (Switzerland), Pablo Picasso (France), Arno Breker (Germany), Marc Chagall (France), Elisaveta Aleksandrova (Bulgaria), Peter Hohberger (Germany) and Uri Ely (Israel).

 

BUFFALO & TORONTO AREA ARTISTS taking part in the exhibition are:

Stella Shalumova, Yuri Firsov (Toronto), Tana Christiansen, David Digby, Donna Wojcik, Wesley Zavrel, Mary Weig, Binyamin Shalumov, Aasta Deth, Ran Webber, Alan Larson, Edward Bialek (Poland), James Culligan (Canada) and others.

JULY 19, 2004 marked the 10th Anniversary of the opening of the US Museum of European Art in Clarence, New York.

On display is a selection of works by Ernst Fuchs (Austria), Uri Ely (Israel), Genia Chef (Germany), Pat Roberts (California), Pablo Picasso (France), Arno Breker (Germany), Marc Chagall (France), Salvador Dali (Spain), Kurt Arentz (Germany), Andy Warhol (USA), Jan Künster (Germany), Henry Moore (Great Britain), Vivi Ann Rose (Utah), Peter Hohberger (Germany), Otto Bachmann (Germany), and Renate Stendar (Switzerland).

The exhibition and sale includes a number of fine lithographs and color woodcuts by Salvador Dali, color post-cards and catalogs.

DALI VISION: THE EYE OF WISDOM

 

Our SPRING 2004 art exhibition is titled "SALVADOR DALI @ 100 YEARS', in honor of the 100th birthday anniversary of the 'King of Surrealists' from Catalonia, Spain.

Exhibited will be a selection of some of his lithographs, sculptures, color woodcuts, and objects of art.

Participating artists: David Digby, Elizabeth Doherty, Deborah Rush, Maria Hatzipetros, Genia Chef (Germany), Uri Ely (Israel), Montserrat Barenys (Spain), ViviAnn Rose, Edward Bialek (Poland), and others.

TWO THEMES: Homage to Salvador Dali on the occasion of the 100th birthday anniversary of the painter-genius from Catalonia, Spain.

GOALS OF THE MUSEUM

INVITATION TO ARTISTS TO EXHIBIT THEIR WORKS

 ART ON LOAN

from the

Museum of European Art

 

Works of art by well-known European artists like Salvador Dali, Jean Cocteau, Marc Chagall, Kurt Arentz, Helga Tiemann, Jean Carzou, Renate Stendar and others are now available for rent at the Museum. The value of most of the works is between $ 300 - 1,800.

The fee is only $ 25 for 3 months, plus a deposit.

 

One of the works available for rent at the Museum of European Art: a color woodcut from Salvador Dali's series DIVINA COMEDIA.
