Workshop number 4 with SWAMI VEDA BHARATI on Saturday, September 16, 14:00-19:00 hrs.

SPECIAL WORKSHOP about yoga nidra (yoga sleeping) taught by Swami Veda. This will be a repetition of the workshop of summer 1999. This workshop is open exclusively to participants of the 1999 workshop and those who participated in at least 2 of the 3 above-mentioned workshops taught by Aaron Means.

YOGA NIDRA is a special technique which one can apply to be able to, in a relatively short period of time, re-gather all inner energy flows, which will revitalize the body and the 'mind.' Applying Yoga-nidra on a regular basis will lead to less 'unconscious sleeping' while one can still reach maximum rest and concentration. It is a technique for those who wish to be effective and spiritual in a busy and dynamic surrounding. The difference between meditation and the yoga nidra will also be explained during the workshop.

Wear comfortable clothes; bring a small light pillow or a soft towel to support your neck and head; a shawl to keep the body warm; a blanket or a sheet to lie down on; a hard blanket or a meditation pillow to sit on; a notebook and a pen.

A hand-out about the basic techniques, information about the role of the Mantra, Principles of the Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Tradition, Philosophy Sheets, cassette tapes for relaxation exercises.
