If you have wanted to live a fuller, more enriching life, both within and without, the Center is for you.
Yoga brings balance and purpose to the relationship between the mind, body, and the external world and leads to a genuine awareness of peace and fulfullment.
Drawing upon over forty centuries of practice and philosophy, the yoga tradition offers a means for physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.
The Center offers programs in all aspects of yoga practice and philosophy. It is a non-profit, volunteer organization which is supported by members and class fees.
Founded in 1971, the Center's programs vary from regular classes in physical (hatha) yoga, meditation and yoga philosophy to special seminars and annual retreats for students and their families.
Yoga is not a religion. Although many of the teachings have been incorporated by the world's religions, yoga teaches by direct experience, and by its practice brings harmony to body, emotions and mind. As a result, many people have found that yoga has enriched their personal religious outlook.
You are invited to come and experience what the Center is all about. Leave your shoes at the door along with the troubles of the world and enter a place where you will find many people of like mind and many opportunities for continues self-growth.
