Sadhana Mandir Ashram is the seat for advanced teaching of meditation in the Himalayan tradition. You will find it a flower-filled island of peace and stillness at the holy river Ganga.
Whichever one of the meditational paths you have been walking, you may come to this ashram for deeper and more intensive experience of meditation, to be guided by the Himalayan Tradition.
The Ashram was established by the late Swami Rama of the Himalayas, author of the famous work Living with the Himalayan Masters and 45 other books, a master yogi, poet, social reformer, and scientist. A mentor to millions and a master of numerous sciences, both ancient and modern, up to the last minute of his life he continued to guide his vast philantropic network as well as teach and initiate the meditation disciples.
Swami Veda Bharati (formerly Dr. Usharbudh Arya), disciple of Swami Rama of the Himalayas, is the Spiritual Director of the Ashram.
Trained in the ancient Sanskrit texts from childhood, he has been travelling and teaching internationally for the last 50 years. Holding the highest degrees from England and Europe, he is known as a meditation guide, poet, lecturer and author, and founder of numerous meditation centers. He was initiated into the Himalayan mysteries and trained in various known systems of meditation for 27 years by his own Master, Swami Rama of the Himalayas.
